Overall it was pleasantly decorated with a comfortable bed.
Some of the staff were horrible.

Convenient Location 📍
This place is situated right in the heart of the town, close to the main restaurant and just a short distance from Stow-on-the-Wold. Its proximity to the Cotswolds makes it a great base for exploring the area.

The room was spacious and clean and the staff where very helpful and friendly. I was worried that, as the rooms where part of a pub there may be some noise but there wasn't any and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning.
The think that black out blinds or thicker curtains would be a good improvement.

Excellent breakfast. Quiet place. Spacious rooms.
There's no wifi in the rooms. And since the rooms are far from the common areas, the signal does not arrive. It's a road hotel, away from the village. In the bathroom, the shower kept losing water because the faucet was not working properly.

In general the service was very good. My room was comfortably furnished with toilettries as well as a sofa bed as described. The location was stunning to the center of bourbon-on-the-water.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, and for what you pay, you get a lot of basic amenities. The rooms are comfortable with a cosy bed and plenty of storage space. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. It's situated in a former pub, which gives it a unique charm, and it's just a short drive away from the centre of town. The staff are friendly and provide good service. Additionally, the breakfast is included and served in the restaurant, making it a convenient and enjoyable start to the day.
All was well.

Excellent accommodation, a pub with a small number of rooms equipped to a very high standard. Better than some 3 star hotel I know of. Good food available for a reasonable price. Location on a main road but I had no problem with traffic noise. In a very good location for visiting the local tourist sites.
Maybe the wifi could be also in the bedrooms... very useful for a single person such as myself.

On my last trip, my stay exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect and very easy to access by public transport. The staff and owner were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and cozy and the breakfast was delicious! I also had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant. I did notice, however, that the floors in the pub were a bit sticky.

Good location. Ample parking. Very clean and well presented. Good evening meal and breakfast. Short walk to beautiful bourton on the water. Very happy :-)
Room was bit cold when we got there as there was a bit of a gap on door but you control your own room heating so it went on full blast!!! everything else was perfect.
